Vignettes for Physics

A vignette is a real world example of a physics concept. The source may be:

·      an article from a periodical
·      an article from a newspaper
·      a cartoon
·      a video segment from a tv show, you tube, etc.
·      an experiment that you conduct
·      or make me an offer I cannot refuse

Presentation

·      Make a copy of the source
·      Cite the source MLA style
·      Write a paragraph that summarizes the source
·      Write a paragraph that clearly states at least three new things you learned or understand better after viewing the source

Find an example that illustrates one of the concepts in Chapter Two. Due Monday.

  1. I don't know what to do my vignette on. Can you give me any subjects/ideas that I could do it on? Everything I find just doesn't seem right.

  2. @rachel you might discuss the new proposals for the standard for mass due to it loosing mass. You might research how handheld cameras do automatic focus or how the standard for length is set up . . . Just a few ideas - hope this helps
