Chemistry Kit Kat Lab



Homework: Complete the lab  report for the Kit Kat Lab.


The following is the procedure for the Kit Kat Lab:


Kit Kat Lab

Density of water = 1.
0 g/cc

1.     Calculate volume of kit kat in cm3  
       (measure the length, width and height)
2.     Find the mass in grams without wrapper. (Use digital balance)
3.     Make a chart with three columns  - sample, mass, volume.
4.     Cut 1/3 of kit kat bar off
5.     REPEAT steps 1-2 for bigger part
6.     Cut it in half
7.     Repeat step 1-2 for one half.

What does the slope represent?
Will they get cat bar sink our float in water?  Why?
